I would say 7 wins to be retained as head coach. If he can get us to play well and stay competitive in every game, I would say 5 wins keeps him on as the OL coach.
Yeah, I don't take joy in somebody losing their dream job. I really do hate that it didn't work out for Collins because I believe that he wanted to make Tech a competitive and national program. It just didn't work out, and it's time to move on.
This is pretty much my list too. I'd also say a tier 3 of Dan Mullen and Jim McElwain. Both of those guys have won no matter where they have been and are not bad fallback options.
Well, you can be miserable and hope that we suck so we can fire a guy that you don't like. I'll be optimistic, yeah probably naive would be a better word, and hope that we perform well and turn it around because there is enough talent on this team to make a bowl game.
