We have the 4th ranked recruiting class in the nation coming in next year, and the last 2 years have been top 10. Recruiting is not the problem.

That's my opinion of Brown too. It seems like the second time through the order teams tee off on him. But he has been excellent the first time through the order. If McGuire can get extended, I'd put him as the third starter and move Brown to the pen as a high leverage reliever.

I will also say that if you look at the pitching, we only have 3 upperclassmen giving us significant innings. That would be Vaughan, Mannelly, and Brown. When you have young pitching, they are going to be inconsistent.

That's it. He has so much better control and I love the way he attacks hitters. He's going to give up hits and homers but he'll limit the damage. I think he's going to be the ace next year, as long as he's healthy of course.

I just want McGuire to come back. I know that it'll take him some time to get up to speed, but he can do that as the midweek starter which I think would solidify our whole pitching rotation.

Nice series win!! Pitching has been phenomenal so far this weekend. Hopefully we can go for the kill and get the sweep tomorrow, but either way, a really good weekend!

I have that same opinion. I think we are a more complete team than last year. Hopefully the guys can stay healthy and get hot at the right time in May and June.
