Long is OC and TE coach now. As far as title you could name someone else co-OC and give them play calling duties.

I'm not sure what you would have preferred. Pick a coach with no job who doesn't meet your requirements, just to keep players that may have left anyways? Why are you scared?

It may be that once ADJB knew he would have wait till after AAC championship to make the hire, he decided to keep interviewing other candidates. This way if anything happens in next week, he can quickly pivot to another candidate.

Why are people so scared of losing current players? It seems to me we only have a few difference makers, that can't be replaced. Almost everyone else is an average or lower, compared to what is out there.

Agree 100%, however this is not a GT fans only thing. Most CFB fans love to complain,not just GT fans. I believe ADJB knos to ignore this. The main problem is boosters who read message boards, making recommendations. Is there any coach picked by boosters that has worked out?

One thing I see is posts about Fritz's recruiting. He was a Georgia Southern and has ties throughout the state. LA connections will be good also.

I think Fritz will be a good choice and will allow us to improve finances and go after someone better in a few years. Though I can see the same argument being used for Key, I think Fritz would be more successful, though not way more successful.

1st of all, I think CJP was trying to run with Howard. At a certain point you have to say its not working and try something else. We won the ACC without a center. It can be done. That said don't expect to be in top half of ACC.
