As a casual basketball fan, all I can tell you is that I could visually see a difference in how quickly the ball moved form player to player. In previous years, folks talked about the ball getting "stuck" in player's hands. Not happening now with this coaching staff.
It's more entertaining...
Actually, 19 points says to me 4 FG’s and 1 TD, or 5 scores. That sounds about right to me for our offense. I just think their defense is elite and we’ll have trouble in the red zone. They’ll also have 5 scores, but much more success with their power run game in our red zone.
I’ll be most...
Honestly, EVERYONE runs options in college football. If you watched Bama-LSU you heard the announcer point out the triple option plays both teams ran. To dislike option football is nothing short of stupid.
Two plays I was thinking of weren’t on the goal line. One resulted in TE (i think) being wide open for TD and the was the infamous 42 yard QB sneak for a TD. I thought we were a man short on actual goal line. Am I wrong? Curious, not argumentative.
I think reduced risk is a part of it. When we have played aggressively on D, it has been boom or bust (and bust has won by A LOT). Remember our goal line defenses vs BC on 4th down that resulted in two TD’s for BC?
I think we don’t have confidence that we can effectively execute aggressive D.
Had that exact same experience for one game at LSU's Tiger Stadium in the Upper, Upper Deck. It was a joke and we left after just a few minutes and enjoyed the game on TV at a nearby pub.
Last I looked we aren't favored to win this weekend. Virginia has caught on fire and is playing well. Indeed, the fact we are underdogs is the only thing giving me hope....
Transfer Portal as it is today. It is the Wild West, unrestrained, purely narcissistic/egotistical. Or whatever word you'd like to use for "I'm only in it for the money"
Bama will get the nod over Texas if it comes down to that. Based on the “eye test”. Texas’ win over Bama was way back on September 9th. And Bama has improved so much since then they would win a rematch. Bama will have just beaten LSU, and UGA. That’s the SEC argument. And it might just work.
Odd. Coach Prime promises to out and replace his entire O line after a dismal game against UCLA. Crickets.
Pitt coach says “it’s on me, but maybe the guys we lost were better than the guys we have now”, and OMG!!
Media coverage seems oddly unbalanced.
