Definitely a sad situation. The devastation brain cancer causes is just unreal. I lost my 21 year old son to brain cancer last June after a 23 month battle and some of the images and nightmares that he went through have scarred me for life..... amazing that I have made it this far without him...

I just think the vad situation was as close to a no win situation as could be for pj. Had he benched him at ANY time, regardless of pj knowing where vads head and heart was, he would have been crucified if he knew jt wasnt ready. After all vad was supposed to be the savior.

I've wondered about this too. Having to scale back on the playbook or simplify the defense (haven't heard that one in a while but used to hear it all the time). These are some smart kids that come here, why would anything have to be simplified?
