not just the timing but everything about that play was just flukey. We pressured the QB, Gotsis caused a fumble basically that the QB caught then threw on the run a deep fluttering bomb...TD...ok...
Yeah I was trying to think of comparables for ND and couldn't come up with many...in all honesty they feel like UVA right now with the injuries and such, but strong talent on the lines, which coincidentally they were pretty much tied with for 59:48.
My first sentence was supposed to say...
the offensive player should not put the ref in the position to let that play go. At full speed all he can see is an offensive player diving at the hindquarters of a defender. Bad call or not, I can't blame the official for calling it. Opposing players will look to turn and fall like that to...
This ND team will be tough to figure out on ND. I am one who thinks that a backup who comes in during the heat of the moment is less nervous than one that has a week to think about how he'll need to score on every possession. I expect a lot of forced throws that we'll need to pounce on...
I think the A-Backs look and play faster because they have a QB that can outrun them. It allows them to be at or near full speed when taking the pitch on the option.
well in review, I guess their trajectory is good comparing the last two years to their previous 2. No doubt Navy isn't in a position to re-load and will come at the college football scene in waves so to speak.
They've taken a step back the last two seasons in my opinion. Moral victories aren't happy news anymore in Annapolis. They oddly play up or down to their opponent it seems.
This post is not true. The only QB who has actually missed time due to injury is the "Warrior" Josh Nesbitt, who couldn't play against Duke, and was pulled some against UGA, then broke his arm.
Tevin played every game unless he was benched BY DESIGN
Vad played every snap unless he was benched...
I agree...I think we are truly pushing the bodies to the limit and they're ready to burst in a lot of cases. Could just be more information availability makes me more aware of the injuries though.
