Yeah, AJ I have similar uneasy feelings about him. Question, not a statement: Is Chadwell's success a function of QB quality at the time ? All coaches are subject to this, but some more than others. We made this mistake with a coach from ECU one time.

I think there are a lot of old school guys on here that think maybe bringing on an established HC like CBR/CPJ, might work out better than the last time we tried the "big buzz" hype machine approach. AFLAC prime time may be an example of the latter.

Agree for the most part, but the only way we should keep Key is going all out for coordinators. As for Collins being distracted, which is really a reasonable view, however, I saw NO evidence on Saturdays that would make me believe he would be better having done absolute full time coaching.

Processing speed is the separating factor for QBs at all levels, provided a minimum of arm strength and short/medium range accuracy exist. It's mostly above the shoulders. Brady isn't the fastest or strongest QB by far, but he does have incredible processing speed. I bet he is also damned good...

True, but they are still the exception vs rule. Of those on our list, Chadwell may fit the profile. Who the new AD is, will have a lot of bearing on who we get. Imo, hopefully somebody proven.

Agree on use of an experienced search firm. I do however, have reservations about a firm which is headed by and staffed with dwags, no matter what their brochures say about their professional ethics.
