  1. Which of these 3 has mess up college football

A power law distribution of talent and marketability in a market isn’t the same as there being no market. Replace GT players with an FCS squad year in and year out and it wouldn’t take long for GT football revenue to crater. Players bring in fans based on percentile of ability, not an absolute...
  2. 2023 ACC News & Discussion

Any of Deion’s players calling him out online? Thats the big part of the story IMO
  3. UVA game thoughts

I think the low attempts for Muskett makes him look better than he is in terms of mistakes. Muskett is averaging an INT on 2.7% of his throws, King on 4%. Better, but not a LOT better, and they’ve both been throwing about 30ish attempts a game lately. If GT doesn’t get down big and King starts...
  4. New ACC Schedule Format Reveal

I’m having a hard time parsing the PR-speak to see if GT “agreed that they didn’t need a permanent rival to enable more creative scheduling” or whatever or if GT “agreed” that it’s better after not getting what you to not publicly whine about it.
  5. Potential DC for Next Year

If the problem is the players regardless of the coaching you definitely shouldn’t be precious about replacing a coach then! Clearly the recruiting and relationship story isn’t paying off.
  6. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

I wouldn’t have been shocked to see Pyron last night because it looked to me like UNC was taking every chance to get anything extra on King. Took some hits and had some nasty looking falls as part of them.
  7. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

If you pull King during the BC game do you also pull him after the first quarter and some missed throws and drives without points against UNC? There were calls for Pyron in both games...
  8. Potential DC for Next Year

After we get Dabo fired we can bring him on as a one year analyst and tap his contacts list
  9. Conference Realignment

The better the ACC does, the more ranked teams for us to beat and the fewer unranked ones to beat us
  10. ACC Standings

To be fair, I feel like weird three way tiebreakers are practically a GT tradition
  11. Game 8 #UNCvsGT Postgame

I said at halftime I’d be happy win or lose if the offense played the second half like the first, but next time I’ll specify “like the second quarter” more precisely
  12. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

That back of the endzone find was the sort of thing that I feel always happens to GT but never for GT, amazing
  13. Game 8 #UNCvsGT Postgame

Feels like forever since 7+ ypc and higher ypc than the opponent
  14. In honor of Paul Johnson being at the game tomorrow... what's your favorite memory from his time as coach?

I’m adding this game to the list of favorite Johnson moments
  15. Game 8 #UNCvsGT Postgame

Felt like after going down 14-0 and struggling on both sides of the ball there was a risk of the team completely losing faith. Rutherford and King started to put them on their back and then everyone joined in. Really really need to build on that
  16. Game 8 #UNCvsGT Postgame

Welcome back to “won’t lose another game” city! Feeling good about Clemson game right now!
  17. In honor of Paul Johnson being at the game tomorrow... what's your favorite memory from his time as coach?

The 2010 game frustrates me because wasn’t that all set up by a missed PAT? And that was just one of many 2004+ snakebite moments in that series of ridiculous close losses.
  18. New ACC Schedule Format Reveal

If I was gonna fly in to go to a game at Stanford, though, I'd suggest considering something a bit different, like fly into San Jose and then stay near Half Moon Bay. Probably too much of a drive to Cal, but a nice change of pace from the peninsula burbs.
  19. New ACC Schedule Format Reveal

I was in SF a couple weeks ago but forgot to stop by Applebees, thanks for ruining my trip in retrospect! The area around the stadiums seemed quite nice, though.
  20. In honor of Paul Johnson being at the game tomorrow... what's your favorite memory from his time as coach?

2008 Miami was fun after a bunch of “we killed the option in the 90s, it doesn’t work against Da U speed!”
