Wonder if 2006 GT is on that list
  2. What is the state of our fan base?

The way coach salaries went, that Hewitt contract should’ve been basically inflated away by the time the Pastner hire was made. Needed a lot more money than just that
  3. Is this REALLY true?

UGA grads on the BoR or not, how many Tech presidents do you think have gone to that board asking for athletics help? Seems like a significant part of GT leadership would have just as soon dropped that side entirely.
  4. Cincinnati game

Is there a record for “worst nine minute run in program history”?? :o
  5. Game 12 #UGAvsGT Media

Johnson had enough history in the state that I think he cared about the game more than Gailey, I think, which might explain some of the consistent failure to win some very winnable games from 04 to 07…
  6. Favorite COFH win/moment?

04/05/06/07 was a ridiculous run of BS plus bad luck plus self inflicted wounds, it’s unbelievable that we lost all four of those. So 08 was sweet, sweet payback. But 16 was probably my favorite. Felt like finally winning one when not just a better team overall.
  7. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

We beat Colandrea and Van Dyke and Maye, maybe playing top quarterbacks is our secret weapon.
  8. What is the state of our fan base?

Stanford’s new stadium is nice - no bad seats, and and concourses all around with open views to the field - but was also a full demo. I don’t want to go that far so stuff like connecting all the stands together probably isn’t practical, but wider seat backs everywhere would go a long way, I...
  9. 2023 ACC Team Statistics

What would be the O/U for a GT/USC bowl game?
  10. What is the state of our fan base?

Go study what schools with engaged student fanbases do and start copying that. Expand the base. For every “they’re international, they’ll never care” excuse turn that into a “they didn’t grow up a UGA or Bama fan” opportunity. Stop feeding the “objective” “logical” “sports are a waste, just like...
  11. Absurdly Early 2024 Predictions

Build on the UVA and Syracuse wins for closing the door on the should-wins. Win two of UNC, Miami, Louisville, NCST. 7 with a chance of a wildcard 8th or more. The FSU/ND/UGA lineup does the team no favors
  12. Bowl Game Question

Fanbase ticket sales are based on emotion and a GT that beat UGA would have a more motivated fanbase than just about anyone else after FSU and UL in the ACC this year. But it’s unlikely and honestly I’ll take a low tier one if it makes 7-6 instead of 6-7 a lot more likely for now. Still in...
  13. Bowl Game Question

At least if we’re competing with Duke BC and Miami travel isn’t a big disadvantage. Miami has TV name value but not sure how well that translates to every bowl.
  14. Bowl Game Question

I’d like one Holiday Bowl pls and thank you. Travel plans got upended to get to Atlanta this year so that would be a good chance. Sun would be a potential good one too.
  15. Cuse Postgame

And that was without it going for 300+ yards and breaking a few 40+ yard TDs too!
  16. Cuse Postgame

46 of those came on the first two plays, then 5 for 13 yards. We woulda been happier if that 16 yarder wasn’t a fumble and if they hadn’t then gotten stuffed for a couple drives, but was there a substantial play call difference in the five runs that didn’t go anywhere compared to the first two...
  17. Cuse Postgame

Dude you’re complaining and posturing about people’s reaction to a bunch of kids playing a game in a sport that’s wildly absurd and imbalanced across the board. Where’s the logic?
  18. Cuse Postgame

If we’re being “objective” we’re all incredibly silly for caring so much about sports, ya? No need to be the fan police.
  19. Cuse Postgame

Pretty sure Collins never won 5, but ok. You wanna be miserable if you don’t win every game? Go root for UGA, and then whoever wins big next. Cause you ain’t gonna be happy pretending you’re too good for the rest of us here.
  20. Cuse Postgame

Pretending that there’s no such thing as progress until you go undefeated is a good way to rob yourself of fun.
