:D Funny because I tried throwing under my porch the other day when it was drizzling. I thought surely it was high enough to get some practice in… I was way wrong. No matter how I tried, I put most of the bags into the ceiling. I just quit and will wait for dry weather.

That’s the truth! When I’ve had the most success in tournaments I’ve been seeded middle of the pack, played a lower team to open and then caught the top seeds after their opening round bye. It’s tough to come in cold against someone who has been throwing.

Very good point… But we have to be careful with this. The central tenet of the thesis we have been developing here is that many of these rankings are inflated, if not outright bogus.;)

Watching Purdue and Marquette. They had audio troubles to start the game. The announcers were gone. All you could hear was the game, the crowd and the arena. It was one of the most enjoyable basketball broadcasts I’ve watched… for about 3 minutes.
