I think this is a double-standard, frankly. "It Just Means More" is 100% elitism. It's all most of them have got to be really proud of, so I don't hold it against them. Of course SEC schools want to say that academics don't matter when it comes to college sports. Of course they want to say...

Yep. Same with Savannah, and technically GT had a campus there for a while. But that doesn't mean we couldn't make a run at being relevant in the other cities again, particularly now that they are quite a bit larger as everyone has moved south.

Yeah, down here where I moved in SE Georgia I'm in the total minority. But I wear GT stuff all the time and give as good as I take :) And I've found way more GT fans than was obvious if I hadn't represented!

Well, to be honest one the surest ways to become a millionaire is to not let your money out of your accounts. So I'm not sure it's that big of a stretch to say that GT Alums are very prudent spenders on average.

And I don't follow either on anything. So we average out. :) There are a lot of people who are fans but don't need push notices about GT news. I, for one, am perfectly happy instigating my information searches on GT without having it pushed to me.

Yeah, my beef all along on this is not what he said, it's that he had to make a show out of it. It seemed very 'Deion-centric' at the expense of publically calling out the players. I have a simple rule: Paise in public, Admonish in private. Unless it's on GTSwarm, then the gloves are off! ;)

I think most people on the board don't actually post much, if at all. I didn't read it as snarky...it's just a reality that a lot of people like to complain the problem but aren't willing to be part of the solution (or don't know how.) It's easy to think "I can't give enough to matter." So...

I think that list is wrong...it says he entered the portal before it opened. So it was based on his potential to enter the portal before HCBK was named.

I'm thinking he'll be a .60 coach over time, which is pretty good for GT historically, behind only Heisman, Dodd, GOL.
