  1. Nc State Postgame

    Amen!
  2. Nc State Postgame

Their QB runs were against a 4 man or more rush when we were in man to man defense. They were not against a 3 man rush.
  3. Nc State Postgame

4th quarter defense was bad. Good to very good up to that point. NCST had 200 yard offense thru 3 quarters. Then 200 in the 4th quarter. Very odd.
  4. Nc State Postgame

You realize that horrible defense accounted for 14 of our 30 points.
  5. Nc State Postgame

    He is good now.
  6. NC State Preview

Well we got 30. 14 due to defense and 7 due to Philo showing he is a stud. Happy for Philo, King and the whole team! Great win.
  7. AARON PHILO

Philo was simply great tonight. His receivers dropped 2 TDs and a sure first down on a drive we punted on. Never appeared nervous or rattled! Tip my cap to the kid!
  8. NC State Preview

We are extremely likely to have delusional fans. All those predicting GT will score 34+ points. Hard to do with a starting QB who can’t throw and a true freshmen backup.
  9. SMU Coach Rhett Lashley on ACC and CFP

When and against who was the last time GT played a regular season game West of Mississippi?
  10. Game 11 #NCSUvsGT Predictions

We score in the 30s, well yea if we played UNC every week. They are the only P4 team we scored over 30 against.
  11. NC State Preview

Higher probability to lose than win if King is not healthy or can't play. King is the key to GT's offense. I have serious doubts the offensive plan that worked against Miami will be as successful against NCST.

    Good post!
  13. NC State Preview

We lost, you can say oh we would beat them. That’s what Duke and Carolina are saying about us, oh we could beat them now. Sure we could. What is the point of that exercise. I guess it feels good to you. Whatever makes you feel good is good.
  14. NC State Preview

Need a healthy King to beat NCST and anyone we already lost to

The computers are biased and cannot judge 138 teams that play very few similar opponents. It’s no better than a committee that takes input from many models. 12 teams is better than 2 or 4. 16 or 24 would be better as is done in FCS.
  16. SMU Coach Rhett Lashley on ACC and CFP

Defining the top is hard. Generally the SEC has had 2 or 3 “elite” teams every year. It’s harder now with giant Conferences. They brought in two traditional Powerful programs in Texas and Oklahoma. Oklahoma is very down but Texas is back to being a top ten team. The SEC elite depth runs to...
  17. SMU Coach Rhett Lashley on ACC and CFP

From 2015 on there were 10 CFPs with 12 SEC teams and 6 SEC Championships by 3 different teams LSU (1), Georgia (2) and Bama (3). Non SEC were Clemson (2), Ohio State (1) and Michigan (1). So the SEC dominance continues for nearly 20 years! You can argue the Conference as a whole all day but...
  18. SMU Coach Rhett Lashley on ACC and CFP

That was week as the CFP took 4 teams and the BCS took 2 teams. Everybody screamed when the BCS took a repeat of Bama vs LSU and Georgia and Bama played a few times in the CFP! Actually do the work if you think there is merit to the SEC Top is overrated! The final results the past 15 or so...
  19. SMU Coach Rhett Lashley on ACC and CFP

Do the real work and look at the top SEC teams and the Top ACC teams. That is all hat matters for this discussion!
  20. NC State Preview

You have to look at the game as a whole. Was VT ever threatened by GT's offense? NO! Did VT need to play a "safe" offensive game to make sure they won the game - yes! They did which was the correct approach. There is nothing in the way GT played that game to suggest we would have won unless...
