Convincing many on this board of the value of marketing, sales, or even simply soft skills is a lost cause.
Most engineers don’t undertand marketing or sales. Many of them think products should sell themselves and are openly disdainful of sales and marketing.
Only conceivable way:
1. Elect to receive.
2. 30 minute touchdown drive.
3. Kickoff to start second half. Returned for a TD.
4. 29 minute 45 second touchdown drive for the win.
The stance of these high-horsers seems to be our players are kids who can’t be criticized for on the field play because it will hurt their feelings, but the other teams players can be called thugs, morons, and other personal insults all day long.
