Those tackles were a true freshman and a RS freshman going against an elite defense. By the time we see them they will be markedly better and outside of Clemson no ACC defense is in Florida’s class.

People in this thread don’t realize just how good Florida’s DL is. A freshman QB and two freshman Tackles were going to get eaten alive. Miami’s OL will get better and they won’t face anyone with a DL in the same universe as Florida’s unless they make the ACCCG.

Suggs QBR in 2002 was better than any other Gailey era QB. As a pure passer in a conventional system he was probably better than anyone we’ve had since.

No way the ACC is the second strongest conference. The SEC, Big 10, and Big 12 are all easily better. There’s probably 10 teams from those conferences who would go unbeaten in the Coastal.

I hate to do it but I’ll slightly defend Tennessee. 1) they have a terrible recruiting base. East Tennessee 2) they have to play 3 programs that should always be better every year. On the flip side they’ve probably made the dumbest run of HC hires by a blue blood program ever.
