gtcrew are you CGC trolling this site? lol
Seriously, as you stated, the GCG experiment will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Although I do not think it is fundamentally different than other college programs. Every program is a "developmental program". Every program has a practice...
I may like Thacker, but the defense ranked next to last in the ACC. http://theacc.com/stats.aspx?path=football&year=2019 Not much better than the offense which ranked last.
We may like the coaches, but the stats do not paint a pretty picture.
Lots of room for improvement.
That record is more than enough to appease many on this board. And I would assume TStan has a set of expectations and would look at what the program looks like overall. My opinion is that record buys him another season. But my opinion means nothing. TStan is the one making the moves.
And...
If CGC is 9-27 after 3 years, even the folks with gold colored glasses will be hard pressed to make a case supporting CGC and the staff. But I hate "what ifs".
CGC needs to show the program is improving. If the CGC "process" is not developing players after 3 years, then I agree it would be...
One would hope to see improvement, year over year. Year two offers opportunity against some quality opponents and an opportunity to show improved play. An upset early next season would buy CGC some "leash". I still want CGC to succeed. I have to believe CGC is extremely disappointed with...
I would love to know how this works. Who decides the number of exceptions. I assume it is not the board of regents. It is not the AA. So is it someone on the hill that decides? I really do want to know what the process is to define the number of exceptions.
I know it is not the coaching...
After a couple of brews and an a## kicking of the dawgs. I will say I hope Collins is the man.
I love his intensity and his emphasis on recruiting. After recently losing an OL recruit, I hope he can keep this class after a disappointing year. Or improve it with grad transfers and poaching...
I do not recall any classes that graded on a curve. Especially in Aerospace Engineering. Maybe there were, but you either made the grade or did not.
To quote Yoda, "Do or do not, there is no try".
forensic, appreciate your post. I am mature enough to realize those that are the most opinionated will be the ones with the most posts and get under your skin the most.
The posts I enjoy the most are the ones that have stats or data to back up opinions. And there are many on this board that...
I don't understand why you keep trolling this. Obviously GCG is going to recruit. But he is clearly not ignoring the fanbase. Where were the "Solid Gold Dancers" today?
