See SI article below concerning Zeek Biggers going to the Shrine Bowl.

"Biggers would be the 29th Yellow Jacket to play in the Shrine Bowl since its inception in 1925 and the first since linebacker Charlie Thomas in 2023. Notable Shrine Bowl alumni include Tom Brady, John Elway and Walter Payton and Georgia Tech standouts Darren Waller (2014) and Darryl Smith (2003)."

He has improved every single year. It is great he is being rewarded for his work ethic and is getting noticed.
It (player development and progress over their careers on the Flats) is one of the subplots of the game that has always interested me. Think of Charlie Thomas, Adam Gotsis, Zeek and Butker (just to name a few off the top of my head) as seniors vs, when they were freshmen. Night and day difference. Also, the Calvin Johnson types who show up one day one as NFL ready players are nice too! Of course, he is the only one of those we have had. ;)

Not so sure about Gibbs. He was good from the day he put on his GT uniform. If he got much better it was hard to tell.
I agree. He was/is special. Even Bama didn't add much that he didn't already bring to the table. Would have loved to see him in last year's GT offense. Under a different set of circumstances he would have been remembered in the same way that we talk about ELI, Joe Ham, Calvin, etc.

Especially Shaq. He was a two star in high school, but was absolutely and completely perfect for the spread option. Then Belichick saw his work in the tryouts and took him. He was the best drive blocker in Tech history and it showed up at once in the NFL. Sort of like how some NFL teams balked at taking Aaron Donald because he's only 6'1" tall. Big mistake.
