I was watching this live. My immediate thought was "Woody Hayes but at UM basketball." Many in UM nation are calling for Howard's termination. Apparently, this is not his first bout with such shenanigans.

Woody Hayes punched another team's player. Howard b$tch slapped an assistant coach from another team.

Not defending Howard, and I think termination should be on the board if not a heavy fine + banned for the rest of the season plus games next season, but IMO, hitting player is a "do not pass go" red line and coaches should be automatically terminated.
