Rock, I honestly can't tell if you are trolling or being serious? I am not sure I was "celebrating" beating Syracuse. However, I did say that you can't just throw that data out in considering our offensive output last season and that our blow-out victory over them was in large part due to our offense. Also, I do in fact consider it is nice thing to beat a team that finished 4-4 in the ACC 56-0. If you can take no joy in that, I feel sorry for you. I don't understand your use of the word "excuse." People throw that around on message boards a lot, but I am not really sure what it means I guess. I agree with you that losing in double OT doesn't turn the loss in to a win. But when examining the assertion that "CPJ will never beat UGA again, even if he has 12 more tries," I do think it is relevant to note that we came within a hair of beating them just last year. Do you not think that data point is relevant to that question? The world is not black and white and I think there is generally room for shades of grey when having rational discussions. But, I guess to some living in a binary, "excuse"-based world, things like that just don't matter. "Losing 56-0 = losing in double OT. Both are losses and losses are for losers!"
