Pac12 just can’t get over the hump. I love the conference with their history and traditions but damn they just can’t get it done. What gives?

Just a guess here. The Western teams all fight for the players in California, and really the entire nation goes out there including the state island of Hawaii. Does Cali have enough for everyone? Because I think in recruiting the bordering areas have been down in recent years. I’m thinking if you are in the South, you have fertile ground all around you in proximity. Ga., Texas, Fla. are dominant territories. SC, Ala., Tenn., La. are good for their size.

It’s like parity has set in. The schools with the larger budgets out West, come South. Kind of like the BiG 10 has been doing this entire decade in earnest.
