Good update - thanks for posting. I know the team is going to Spain in August - any idea if there will be a way to see those games (even if delayed)? I recall people posted links to games in Bahamas a few years ago (no announcers, but you could watch the game and get idea were the players were at).

I am in Spain now. No billboards in Barcelona as yet. I will post photos when I see them.

Obviously Pastner is never going to dump on his guys but his comments on Parham give me faith. I’ve been worried about how 22 ppg against terrible competition would translate to ACC level competition. If he could put in double digit work next year, that’d be awesome.

Parham went off for 35 against Kentucky

I’m not worried about his level of competition

I worry about consistency as every night in the ACC is a grind and coaches are not going to let a guy score 20 PPG without taking notice and making a few adjustments KY didn't get a chance to do.

I worry about how how minutes will be allocated and how he will adjust to a reduced role and not having the ball in his hands all the time. And how Jose and DeVoe will react to not being guaranteed 40 min per game.

Manageable but concerns. Last year Jose and Devoe averaged about 22 points and 3 made three point shots per game (combined in ACC play). If we can get 25 to hopefully 30 PPG and 4 or 5 made three point shots per game out of the 2 guard slots I would consider that a huge win. That is assuming about the same tempo that we played with this year. I hope we play faster and have a higher average score which would adjust those numbers a bit.

Of course Parham has to get a waiver first so this is all academic at this stage.

I hope he can slash here. We need someone to collapse defenses to kick for open Devoe 3s so he can reenact the Barrett Montverde days of draining 3s at an absurd clip.

It’s always a question of defense. I’m comfortable with Devoe dropping to a wing to get Parham on offense.

J and D have to adjust .When you have a bunch good players all have to give up time.Last yr we wore Jose out .Needs the break.
