Coming into this season all the preseason rankings worried me, which were based more on how we finished last year IMO. The loss of our WRs and RBs was hard to replace from my viewpoint and then you combine that with Dennis Andrews being kicked off the team. Even if you put all the injuries aside most of injured are young in the skill positions on offense except for Snoddy. There is a serious lack of leadership on the team. Last year was a special season and a team on a mission. I will never forget when Snoddy got hurt in the Clemson game and the whole team went on the field and surrounded him...to me that defined the kind of team we had. As for the coaching CPJ could probably make a few tweaks...IMO JT needs to be put in the gun some or introduce some of the pistol again and see if it helps. On D, I do not know why Roof is not bringing the heat...this was the same problem in the first half of the season last year. He has nothing to lose. With all that said, I think we will be much better in the skill positions on O next year and on D we have some good young athletes, but I still think the D line will be a problem. All in all I was hoping for a little better than 500 this year and a much better year next year. So far my prediction this year is not looking great but let's hope next year we will get back on track and have a good season.
