The Dirty Birds take a trip to the Motor City to take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Falcons are on a roll and stay on a roll by beating the Lions 31-17 bringing their record to 3-0.

Wow I didn't know they were close friends I remember the Falcons quarterback Steve Bartkowski and the LA Rams quarterback Pat Haden were close friends going back to College Football when Steve played for California and Pat played for USC.

I got so frustrated after it looked like Stafford had thrown a touchdown with around 30 seconds left that I turned off the tv Thank goodness they held on!

The Falcons are starting the season as the Cardiac Kids. I hope Vic Beasley comes back soon because without him there's not much of a pass rush.
