In case you didn’t know, he’s Oklahoma’s defensive coordinator.

Texas beat OU 49-0 today.

I feel bad for Roof because he was a solid DC here and is a legendary player, but the way OU has played on Defense lately is terrible, Roof will probably lose his job.

Last year Oklahoma gave up 48 points to Texas and won, cause their offense put up 55 vs 0 today. They also only had 39 yards passing! Think the OC deserves more heat than the DC considering today’s game is very favored to offenses. Ted still deserves heat, but he should not be the top focus. Oklahoma has a bunch of top offensive recruits that Riley brought in, how can they not even score a TD?

Because 3 of those top offensive players went to USC with Riley.

OU was going to be crap this year - they lost a ton to the portal and are turning over the coaching staff. Plus, to boot, Dillon Gabriel (starting QB) got a concussion last week and was out for this game.

Oklahoma fans were already up in arms with the Roof hire, Venables may have to bow to pressure to get rid of him.

Roof was hired as a sacrifice i bet. Venables knew that this year was goign to suck no matter what.
