Not what I said at all. I'm saying that the way you go about relieving people of their duties must be well thought out and planned prior to executing the firing. Of course when comparing a CFB Coach firing to an employee is slightly different in the fact that in most cases employees have a chance to grab their belongings and things before being escorted out. There are so many things that go into firing an individual nowadays that have to be cleared through HR due to diversity factors, sex factors, and all that was done to try and prevent the firing before the final nail in the coffin when the product isn't matching expectations. In the case of Geoff, I have more of an issue with how the news broke in relation to when Geoff found out. I personally would have liked Geoff to have been able to address the team after his firing with the caveat that he be told what he can and cannot say at the time. We need to keep as much of the talent on the roster as we can for the new coach, similar to when CPJ came in and got Gailey's talented roster. Believe it or not we have some damn good ball players on this team, just poorly coached. I worry about the fallout within the team and the impacts on the next 1-2 seasons.
