Possible NCAA Changes coming to Transfer Portal and Redshirt Rule

NCAA to consider changing the Transfer Portal rule to allow a single 30-day period from Dec. 9 to Jan. 7. Also, a Redshirt player could play 4 regular season games plus play in a Bowl, conference championships, or playoff games and still retain the redshirt. Sounds like the one 30-day period would allow the coaches a better way to manage their rosters. See below.

The problem with Redshirting in this day and age, is the Transfer portal. Good for a player that will eventually reach his potential. But bad for programs that stack really good players.
