Should finish 9-3 on the season
Navy gambled this season and it didn't pay off. They had Zach Abey at QB who had run nearly 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns the year before. They benched him and converted their A-Back (Malcolm Perry) to the QB position and it has not gone well. Perry has 1000 yards rushing but only 7 touchdowns. Their defense is giving up 10 more ppg this year than last year.. Switching Abey and Perry around has made both of them far more ineffective. Abey also throw for 805 yards last year, and Perry (again, a converted ABack) has thrown for 185 yards. Really horrible decision that cost Perry, Abey, and their program a difficult setback this year. The logic was that Perry is insanely fast so they thought they would get more big plays. But he isn't nearly as good a QB as Abey.
