Haynes King not included. 3 ACC QB's on the list. National perception of Haynes is not very high. Are we still that disrespected as a program? if so time to change the narrative.
King was very efficient, King threw for the 13th most yards of the ACC QBs. He threw the 12th most TDs. Those stats won't get you much love going forward. Obviously he was injured for a good chunk of the season. Until he proves he is fully healthy as a QB he won't be rated real high. Our overall game plan ( zero interceptions, no fumbles, run the ball and throw short passes) was pretty conservative.
Fixed it for youKing was injured for most of the season. Places liek on3 are just looking for clicks and do the most cursory of glances beyond stats. As given that they have carson beck at 7 when it was very obvious that his numbers last year were only because of generational talent to throw to, even though that talent dropped more passes than could be counted.
Fixed it for you
It is really difficult for King to stay healthy based on the number of runs in RPO (or designed QB runs) and his desire to take hits for extra yards versus going down. I appreciate his effort and courage but I think from an injury perspective, it is to his detriment.I think King suffers on the reliability front. He misses a lot of time with injuries and plays a lot while he is still injured. While I give him high marks for guts and fortitude, he just does not seem to be able to sustain his health in order to maximize his productivity. I think our coaching staff needs to really pour development time into Philo, Knowles and Adamson this off season. Play King if he is healthy but don't keep trotting him out there when he is playing at less than 90 %. Both for his good and the good of the team. I hope he comes back full strength and plays the whole season at full strength, but based on the past, that is most likely not going to happen. I think that factors into his ratings by the National media, and of course Georgia Tech gets little to no respect on that front anyway.
Go Jackets!

After the 2023 season when he put up big what numbers he was viewed as one of the ACC's best QBs.
Tough player in an offensive system designed around his strengths. He was injured close to 1/2 the season.Assume you watch the games.
On what play was he injured.
Folks very close to him say it was at end of unc - and would skip vt and rehab during bye.
Sure is tough being the gt qb.
He lasted thru 6 games and most of 7th ( unc).Tough player in an offensive system designed around his strengths. He was injured close to 1/2 the season.

Pyron lasted thru 1 game ( nd).
Do you agree King recovered by uga?
I don't believe King was as healthy for the UGA game as he was in 2023, not even close to that level. I hope he is back to that level for the 2025 season. Regardless there are very few college players who give their all as King does whenever he is on the field regardless of how banged up he is. The young man is one of the toughest players to ever play for GT. Huge respect for King!He lasted thru 6 games and most of 7th ( unc).

King makes plays to help win football games something I wish Penn State had. King is a playmaker regardless of how the plays come.He was injured a good amount of last year, and some games he did play he was limited/mostly ran.
We know how good King is, let him fly under the radar
My son played and played as hard as he could when hurt. He was much like all players that when he was at less than 95% , replacements were a better option. As a coach on the field he drives the offense around any team limitations.I don't believe King was as healthy for the UGA game as he was in 2023, not even close to that level.
