This preview is pretty good and gets better as it goes on. A little misguided on the OL position changes, but who wouldn't be after this spring.

And of course they had to preview our uniforms...

A much more thorough preview than might be expected with that added twist of a long treatise on the uniforms, of all things. Seems fair enough. and the link to Van Gorder feud -- I just knew the outline of that one -- made for another great read out of all places, USA Today. Good get.

The ND game this year is arguably the biggest one Tech has played since the '90 Citrus Bowl. I fully expect ND to beat Texas and UVA and be ranked higher than sex. If, if, if we are 2-0 going into that game and administer the kind of butt whupping that every ND fan and player deserves because of all the over ratings that a sycophantic media has given them for the 50+ years that I've been following college football, then the media attention that our grand and glorious Institute deserves will follow. A beating so bad that ND will cancel the Navy game and apply for membership in the Big Integer. I'm talking about a beating they cannot rationalize as just the Irish having a bad day. Sixty points and 600+ yards of offense, and every kid in the country will want a spot on CPJ's offense of the future. The bad news is that uga fans will then dump all their Tech game tickets on StubHub and make a small fortune off Tech sidewalk fans rushing onto the bandwagon, but I can live with that.

Feel good about the game, do you?

I know it's old, but I read the link in the article about Brian VanGorder. Man I love our coach. He doesn't back down from anyone. I can't wait for this game. Classic rivals and I know coach wants this one bad.

I wanted to post a comment there but decided, nah, let's treat them like a mushroom team. Defensively, we are all hoping that the #FearJabari2015 campaign goes ballistic, as he seals up the middle with an improved supporting cast all around. If playing GT Lite (Navy) has given them fits historically, this could be a big day offensively as CPJ grinds the axe against BVG. I hope this is a huge game in week 3 against a perennially overrated ND team.

Good writeup. So the Citrus Bowl win doesn't count as a major bowl even though we were ranked #2 and Nebraska was ranked #13 going into it?
That is technically correct; the major bowls were traditionally the Orange, Sugar, Cotton, and Rose. The Cotton may have been replaced by the Fiesta by then; I don't remember the year in which that happened. An undeserving Notre Dame team got the Orange Bowl instead of number 2-ranked Tech.

GT is going to win this game. ND will be good, but GT will be really good next year. JHD is eligible (name it, claim it) and JT will be a boss. Andrews, Snoddy, Searcy will be our main AB's and one of the Freshmen WR's is going to be the next NFL caliber WR.

Our secondary is incredible and our LB's are going to be good as well.

This is the game where GT will make a statement and win by 3 touchdowns! Mark it down!
