Hanging out in Ball Ground this weekend and the German Butcher was closed so I was forced to try something else. There is a food truck that has 2-3 brick ovens. The pizza is great! So were the wings. They get creative and cook all kinds of things in the oven. I saw some great looking steaks. They also use cast iron skillets to cook a lot of different foods. The salmon looked good as well.
The Pizza was as close to Rocky's brick oven Pizza as I have tasted. ( in midtown in the 80's and 90's) (Not Rocky Mountain Pizza)

Anyone tried them? I was really impressed

I've have! Doms is awesome. They use to come to truck and tap in woodstock every Thursday.
Honestly for me it's the best pizza North of 285. I love the Bronx, Caprese, and the fig one. That's one business I hope does really well. He has a loyal following for sure.

Plus before the pandemic kids use to eat free! Every day lol. He would make my nephew and niece free cheese pizzas but we always tipped well as a "thank you". Not sure if they still offer it, but a great deal.

Love this thread, @MountainBuzzMan. Thanks for sharing. Really tough finding good NY style pizza in greater ATL. Definitely will have to check out Dominic's whenever I'm up that way.

One of the decent spots I've found is https://www.vincenzaspizzeria.com/. They import their water from NY/NJ like good NY pizza snobs. They also own Bronx Bagels https://bbs-bagels.net/, hands-down best bagel in greater ATL and often voted as such.

Sorry, but the best pizza comes from New Haven!

Argh! Too long a drive for me—at least on weekdays ;)

I am a long time fan of BB's. I have been going since they opened. My wife likes a more "pleasant" service. I said. Hey its authentic.
