To be honest that win was a gift from the almighty. I know we have been on the other end of a lot of those, so maybe things really do even out over time. It really lifted my spirits and I hope it does the same for the team. We still make a lot of dumb mistakes and almost seem to look for a way to lose but maybe a win like this will turn things around mentally, collectively for this team. I do think the Offensive Line is beginning to play better and Graham is growing as the quarterback. The special teams showed a lot of improvement. One simple improvement was taking the ball at the 25 rather than trying to run it back. We have given up a lot of field position this year just by not taking what they give us. The defense played a lot better and actually showed some moxie when the game was on the line. They still gave up a lot of third and longs but made some stops when we absolutely had to have them. Is this a turning point? Yeah from my perspective it is. I was already feeling a 1 and 11 season so 2 and 10 is now the worst it can go. That alone gives me some measure of improved optimism. This is a weird year for the Coastal Division and we have a chance to win all of our remaining ACC games. Watching UGA, they really are not what I thought they were and if things were to bounce our way, we could hang with them and pull off the unthinkable. So to me that is now being thought about, so it is no longer unthinkable. I hope our boys build off of this experience and don't let it go to their head. It's hard to win and you need to stay humble and keep grinding. Take this off week and continue to work on the mental errors and improving your craft. Go Jackets!
