Dear Swarm the ATL Members, We want to thank you for your participation in our efforts to launch Swarm the ATL, an NIL initiative aimed to support GT Student Athletes. NIL is a new frontier in college athletics and our ability to create opportunities for these young people is vital to the future success of our athletic programs. With the arrival of a new Athletic Director, there have been intensive discussions to develop a unified NIL operation to benefit Georgia Tech. We are on the cusp of that project being launched, and we are excited to know that GTAA will be endorsing its efforts. While we still await the details to be released, we want to apprise you of our perspective and intentions. 1. We believe that having a unified NIL operation with Institutional support is vital to success. 2. The new initiative will provide an avenue for Main Street fans to support their efforts in a similar way to Swarm the ATL. 3. Once the new initiative is launched, Swarm the ATL will wind down and we will encourage our members to join the new, unified effort. We will provide you will relevant information, such as the website, as it is available. 4. Swarm the ATL is cancelling all future recurring collections/membership payments. No action is required on your part to cancel. 5. We will be making payments to student athletes prior to year end. We will also provide our members with an accounting for all funds raised since inception. We thank you again for your support in helping to get GT NIL efforts off the ground. Please look for a follow up email in the coming days with additional instructions. Go Jackets!
