Ken Seguira’s recap: https://www.ajc.com/sports/college/georgia-tech-pummels-east-carolina/x80qURxcFmSOhLNyDRlCBM/ Cole is day to day with an ankle injury (from UT?) Haywood lit into the team in the first half for being lackadaisical. Last year’s Grambling State game was referenced Lots of threes. They were ugly early, but started hitting. We need to figure out how to warm up faster. We never really got our shots going against UT, and it took 10 minutes against ECU. After that, we were good. Giving teams that kind of head start won’t work against better competition Wright had a decent game. Sjolund improved over his UT and Lamar games. If he keeps improving, I think we will see more of him, but right now I don’t think he’ll be ready for ACC play. That would take a ton of improvement. Our wings haven’t progressed as far as our guards. I don’t know if that’s a coaching thing or a scheme thing, but that’s where I think we need to improve to do well in conference. ACC teams will beat us up there, and I think UT did too. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
