Hydrow Ergs

Am getting back to working out (haven’t been to my gym in a year with Covid) and finally bit the bullet and bought a hydrow erg.

Anyone else have one? Would be cool to link up if you’re interested.

Had to look up what you meant, aka Water Rower. I have one at my home and love it, I have the Classic. I’ve had to replace a couple parts already and it was very easy through Water Rower.

I have tried them for a while but ended up going back to my Concept 2 rower. Once I am in rowing shape I feel like the Concept 2 gives me a more rigorous workout. I also dont like the feet angle on it compared to the concept 2. I have some minor back issues with one disk and my back does not act up nearly as much compared to when I was using the water rower. I attributed it to the higher feet placement angle putting a bit more stress at an increased angle on that area of my back.

intresting @MountainBuzzMan about the foot placement. Glad to head the Concept 2 fits you better. Back injuries are no joke.

The other thing I like about the concept 2 is the online community. Not to mention there are regular rowing competitions through the US if you go nuts. I find it much easier to stay in shape when you are doing it with others. especially when there is a little competition. Even when it is just virtual.
