If you think Marshall's 1150 yards rushing and 900 yards passing on 37% deserved all conference recognition I really don't know what to tell you. That's not disrespect. Marshall didn't have that good a year last year. 1150 yards is good, but it doesn't stand out, and certainly not enough to make up for the passing being as bad as it was. And the offense was hardly humming and not exactly what you can point to and say "he was leading a great offense though". What? Lynch had ~900 receiving and rushing yards combined in 2016. He didn't do returns for us. The backs who made the team were Dalvin Cook, James Connor, Matthew Days, Wayne Gallman, Mark Walton, and Elijah Hood. All of them except Hood had more rushing yards than Lynch had total and Hood had more overall yards.
