[QUOTE="Buzzbomb, post: 675336, member: 1134"] I’ve been hearing feedback that only 500 fans attend games at GT? WBB, with an insinuation that people don’t care about the game. I don’t recall a Tech BB event under 1k in the last 30 years since leaving O’Keefe Gym. Most of the recent years they have averaged closer to 2k. Another poster that stated only 2 or 3 schools have relevant crowds in WBB, and Duke MBB outdraws Baylor 10-1. Duke doesn’t average 58,000 per game. No their budgets are not skewed 10-1 either, although Duke MBB has proceeded revenue close to that because Title 9 can’t compensate for Television/Conference contracts. Up until the present date, Marketing has done very, very little to help. The AA hasn’t budgeted much either. It doesn’t take much effort to make calls around the metro area.
