Lets be honest... it's not like he had his QBs in the best position... there stats were horrible at Temple. Coach P has had 1 QB have 1 decent season the past 4 years before coming to Atlanta. Posted his QBs stats in pictures below... Going from 2018 to 2017 at Temple, and 2016 and 2015 at Coastal Carolina 2018: Russo went 14 TDs to 14 ints with 2.5k yards. 14 TDs. He threw on average 26x a game and averaged 1TD and 1int a game. 😬 2017: Two QB system. Marchi finished with 9TDs and 8Ints for 1600 yards. Nutile went 12TDs and 7ints. Combined total of 21TDs and 15Ints and 3.2k passing yards. Not TERRIBLE, but still not ground breaking stuff. 2016: Coastal Carolina - Keane threw for 10TDs and 3 ints for only 800 yards. Stilley the backup QB went for 400 yards and 3 TDs and 1 int. Combined of 13TDs, 4Ints and 1200 yards. Not awful, but again... nothing special. 2015: Coastal Carolina - Ross threw for 3k yards, 21TDs and 7ints. This is more of what we are expecting. Maybe his lower numbers at Temple were due to less time to develop his own guys... but again, it has been 1 year in 4 that we see the production I think most of us expect. Personally I think by 2021-2022 we should have a 3k plus yard QB, with over 25+ passing TDs. If not, we may not have the right guy. I'll give him 3 full years to figure out the QB room. Otherwise we have to move on. This year (if played) should be a 17+ passing TD year and I'd hope less than 10 Ints. .
