Somewhat pains me to report this, but the GT-Stanford banter is always interesting to me due to my ties with both schools and I figured this would be high interest.
I'm sure there's no football players involved because it's unlikely they're taking classes with their "peers" but it appears some of the Stanford youngsters have some explaining to do. UNC atleast isolated their cheating to a bunch of athletes taking bogus classes. This raises the bar to a whole new level.
Will be very interesting to see how the high & mighty react to this nugget. Like GT, they're hyper protective of their academic brand. I would not be sleeping easy if I was at Stanford playing fast & loose with the rules. My bet is there's going to be a statement made by the punishment that's about to be meted out.
