A few random thoughts:

I think I have taken for granted how good we have been defensively, not just this year, but through most of CJP's tenure. I get frustrated with what I see as poor offense, and forget how good they have become defensively. Mea culpa.
As great as the finish to the season has been, I find myself toning my enthusiasm because we had tough, close wins against....not great teams. None of the teams we beat (other than Louisville) will be an NCAA Tournament team, and many of the games were nail-biters against teams who rate in the 70's to the 90's.
Winning still beats losing, no matter what
I remain disturbed about how this team could lose so many double digit leads in the last 10 games or so. Miami and Clemson come immediately to mind.
To be fair, to GET those double digit leads, we played brilliantly. Earlier in the year, we basically never had a chance to blow a big lead because we seldom had double digit leads because we weren't playing well.
I hope, I seriously hope, that we figure out a way to reduce our turnovers. That is a clear achilles heel for us.
If everyone returns and no one transfers out, we should be a very interesting and exiting team next year and I look forward ot the season. I ESPECIALLY look forward to a decent pre-season record next season and no missteps against the Ball States and Gramblings of the basketball universe..
