If im being honest i think Doeren will have them focused on beating UNC over us. I don't think he doesn't prepare for us but a UNC win is much bigger for them. So i take us to beat them this week then them to play out of their minds next week against UNC.

I tend to agree with this. While I’m sure they would like to lock up a bowl earlier, they have got to be eyeing that hot mess at UNC as an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

I have GT winning 31 - 24. For you sharps looking for any possible statistical edge, I am now at a 60% rate this year for GT games. This one is free. If you want anymore, DM and/or subscribe to my newsletter. I see some strong plays in the Illinois/Rutgers game as well as Colorado/Kansas. Next 5 subscribers will get a free Varsity slaw dawg by mentioning the code IHATETHEDWAGS. For those of you who have written to say that last week's code THEUISNOTINOURLEAGUE didn't work, I say to you like whatever, what's in the past stays in the past bro...didn't we just beat the #4 team in the country?? Why is it so difficult for you to be happy?? It's the holiday season friend. Get over yourself. Have a drink. Sheeeesh these people nowadays.

I think we win by 31-24. Of course, college football is very unpredictable…we have had poor games (Syracuse, Louisville) and good games (Miami) and I have no idea which GT we’ll see tomorrow night.

BUT, if things go to form, our running offense should be good enough to grind out a win as long as we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot or (like at syracuse) get too stubborn about the game plan). We must take what their defense gives us, and if they play with 8 in the box we had best be prepared to throw the ball...

I don’t know why ( maybe cause I’m sober) but I not feeling good about this after the Miami game. Hoping King can pass more this week NC State’s head coach is pretty good and the same game plan that we used against Miami won’t work this time.

( really not sure how some of you make it being sober)

NC State is competently coached. They will play the games one at a time and each play IMHO.

Saying that about NC State is like saying we are focused on the mote important uGag game.

That said, I took GT by two scores since that is the line. GT can and has lost games we should have won but I think we are getting better and more consistent when considering injuries.

You are right that we don't know if the team that played poorly against Louisville and Syracuse or the one that played lights out against uM will show up. However, I can promise you that the GT team with players that fight til the final whistle blows will be there!

You always hear people say you need to play hard for 4 quarters regardless of the scoreboard, but rarely do you have a team that actually does that consistently week to week. They may not always play well but there has not been one time this year that I have seen this team slack off or play defeated. It's a weird feeling, as a long time Tech fan, actually having hope in the 4th quarter instead of dread!
