So, I saw a TD/pass stat in an article on Golson transferring and wondered how GT did in this category.

It ends up we're #2 in the country at 9.36% of passes ended up as TDs.

However, if you only count catches, we're #1, 17.92% of our completed passes last year were TDs. That's crazy.

That's impressive. Nearly 1 in 5 catches goes house. Why would any receiver NOT want to play for us?

Probably because they want 15+ passes thrown to them per game like they enjoyed in high school. If their focus in on personal stats, they must be our top receiver and even then they won't see the ball as much as in another offense.

Is there a site you pulled this from or did you extrapolate yourself?

Well, what went wrong with the other 82%? But seriously, that is crazy. But it reflects in pretty stark terms Johnson's "make 'em pay" passing philosophy.

I can't even imagine the rush that one gets catching a TD pass before a packed house at Grant Field. Been pretending that was me ever since I was in grade school.
