Kind of stupid to me. if you can "offer" a player, they should be able to commit in my opinion. the whole soft offer / soft commit thing is crap. If a player wants to lock up a spot, he should be able to do so. Urban just wants to be able to flip players committed to other schools and dump players he's signed in case it is in his best interest to do so.
