Early Signing Period could become a reality this week

There is a good possibility that an early signing period for FB could be approved this week. If that happens it would start as a 2-yr trial run beginning this Dec 16th.

A step in the right direction that is for sure. I wouldn't mind one at the beginning of August, then one in December and then the final in February.
Would definitely force schools to make a honest commitment to the player and vice versa.

I don't like that date because it's going to distract our coaches from the first round of the CFB playoffs.

They must have just figured out early signing helps schools like us and not the factories. Can't have that.
