Coaching - C. Pre-season work was pretty good. Took too long to get the staff together imo but a solid staff. Good get in Abram from the portal and flipping Ndongo. Solid get in Reeves but not sure wing was a priority we needed to address. Some questionable takes in Gapare and Dowuona. Also good start to the class of 24. In season has been unimpressive with a 2-1 record against 3 should win teams with overall lack luster play and questionable line ups. Kelly - B. Has been frustrating at times, but he is averaging 21 and 6 with 2 assists and 1.3 steals. The shooting is the only thing keeping him from an A but he's turned it on a couple times when need be and doing a lot else for us. Gapare - F. No real way around this to me. Still early though. Reeves - A. Bad game last outing but overall he's seemed to force his shot less than he did at UF and is doing better about distributing more (positive A/T). Early on still but that was the biggest concern. So far about as good as we could have asked him to be to me. Also 8/9 on FTS. Amare - D. Bad shooting and a 1 to 1 A/T isn't a good look. High potential but hasn't shown it yet. Hopefully yet is the key word. Claude - B-. Great game against Howard but imo the games against GSU and UMassL are games where he should thrive and shooting under 40% has some concerns against ACC opponents. Deebo - A. he's shooting 62.5% from the field and 56.3% from three in route to a very efficient 16 a game. Seen the bounceback I was hoping to see after last year. Sturdivant - B. Would like to see his 3 point shot be a bit more of a weapon but averaging 10 a game on 46.7% shooting and over 3 to 1 A/T ratio is good. Nobody else really feels like they deserve a grade. Sacko has done some nice things but feels more like an I because anything we can get from him feels like extra at this point.
