The Eagles signed Andrew Gardner to a three-year extension, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via a source informed of the contract. Rapoport added that the base value of the deal is $4.7 million with a $500,000 signing bonus. It also includes incentives that could make the payout much higher.
The new contract suggests the Eagles are pleased with what they saw from the journeyman in August. Now that he's a starter, Gardner will collect more upfront money commensurate with his promotion.
