Satterfield and Clauson have done very well under the circumstances but I don't know that I would put any of them in the Hall of Fame just now.
Oh, well almost all of them currently have winning records including Coach Collins at 16-15. Dabo is at the top with a .801 winning percentage followed by the "dean" of ACC coaches Mack Brown with a .703 with 230 wins to his credit. Willie T at FSU has a losing record at .478 which is amazing considering the talent he has had at 3 head coaching gigs. Dave Clauson has a losing record at Wake Forest but respectable under the circumstances at .492. Those in danger of falling BTL (see what I did there?) are Coach Collins, Manny at Miami, Pat at Pitt, Dino at Syracuse and Addazzio at BC all of whom could fall below .500 with a bad season or two. Satterfield has an impressive 51-18 head coaching record and seems to have Louisville pointed in the right direction. For all the grief, Fuente gets at Virginia Tech, he still has a very respectable .579 winning percentage. The much heralded Coach Cut has a record of 115-103. Personally, taking out Coach Collins, Manny, and Satterfield (because they are just start ing out) I don't think any of them are all that great. Put Mack and Dabo at say Tulane or Rice and that gaudy record would go down in short order. Satterfield and Clauson have done very well under the circumstances but I don't know that I would put any of them in the Hall of Fame just now.
