Please explain the retroactive piece? They did that for me last year. Has that been removed?

Any sonship since July 1 of this year, the start of the GTAA fiscal year, is counted in the Competitive Drive. I think it might have been the first year when it wasn't retroactive, but good to know they did it last year too.
