I keep hearing we have a lack of communication along the offensive line....
I interpret that to mean our linemen either do not understand the blocking scheme or it is too complicated.
As a former offensive lineman, our scheme was "dumbed" down so any player knew who to block on any play. Teams are putting 7, 8, and 9 in the box. We are leaving way too many un blocked. If it is obvious to the fans, how come we don't simplify our blocking rules? Watch our first play from scrimmage against Clemson in slow motion and it speaks volumes!
