I'm sure very few have looked into this game with all the hype on Notre Dame in week three, but Alcorn State is not the typical FCS pushover we've played the past few years. They went 10-3 last year and won the SWAC championship by defeating Southern in the conference championship game.
Their losses:
@ Southern Miss - 26-20
@Grambling - 28-21
vs. Jackson State - 34-31
We should still easily take care of business, but this looks to be a pretty solid football team. That being said, I know nothing of their returning starters on either side of the football.
...and we shouldn't really sleep on Tulane either. That game was close into the fourth quarter last year...although I think if we'd played them later in the season we'd have blown them out.
