Would starting fall camp a week earlier will be an advantage this season? That would effectively give us an extra week of practice compared to our opponents from week 1 onward.

  • Thanking Cabrera and Batt for working to give the GT program the proper resources to succeed
  • Welcome to Stanford, Cal, SMU
  • Appreciation to Dr. Homer Rice and Total Person Concept, how they live on in the three guys we brought to Media Day
  • Q&A: What does the ACC mean to you? Key knew CFB well growing up in Birmingham, but the lessons about discipline, academics, toughness, leadership as an ACC player are unique and invaluable. ACC is an academic league but at GT we do not want to be defined by academics alone.
  • We want players who are not just great football players, but post-football as well - "to be... a first-round draft pick and CEO. We want people to be able to reach both of those goals in life." GT's kicker invented the camera on the iPhone. Robert Withers from BC founded Wheels Up (charter airline).
  • "There's a narrative about this league that football is not the same in this league for whatever reason as others. That's up for us coaches to continue........"
  • Aaaand we're interrupted by commercial and by FSU players joining us after the break. :rolleyes: I was looking forward to hearing the rest but they cut Key off in the middle of answering question 1. Hopefully the full thing comes out on YouTube.
