I had the opposite experience when I met and conversed with him. Maybe you caught him on a bad day.

I love Wes, but last night was the worst he’s ever been. Misidentified players constantly, stumbled over his words when talking about Billy Shaw, confusion on penalties. It was a tough listen from the get-go. The first quarter was particularly bad, but he didn’t get much better throughout. Honestly wonder if doing the Falcons 48 hours before had something to do with it.

Strange. I met him w/ my dad in 2021 and he couldn't have been nicer, he was very easy to talk to. Must've had a bad day when you saw him.
